Job Title: Lead Bankfast Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Engineer with hands-on experience in implementing Sandstone Technology’s BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and deployment of BXP, ensuring the platform is optimized to meet our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital banking platforms, strong technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Implementation Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of implementing Sandstone Technology’s BXP, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Architect Solutions: Design and develop scalable and secure solutions within the BXP framework, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that drives successful project outcomes.
  • Integration: Seamlessly integrate BXP with existing banking systems and third-party services, ensuring data consistency and secure transactions.
  • Customization: Tailor the BXP platform to meet specific business needs, including developing custom components and features.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal defects.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after the implementation, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest developments in Sandstone Technology and other digital banking platforms, and recommend enhancements to keep our solutions cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in implementing Sandstone Technology’s BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP).
    • Proven track record in leading technical teams and delivering successful digital banking projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Angular, React).
    • Strong understanding of API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Extensive experience with Sandstone Technology’s BXP, including customization and integration capabilities.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of digital banking solutions, customer onboarding, loan origination, and other financial products within the BXP ecosystem.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading Agile teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other digital banking platforms and technologies.
  • Certification or formal training in Sandstone Technology products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, particularly in digital banking.
